You’ll need to use the power supply if you want to connect the keyboard to something like an iPad. The keyboard can either be powered via the USB or with an optional 9-volt power supply. On the rear of the keyboard is a sustain pedal input and a USB socket to connect to your computer or other devices.
#Midi controller keyboard Patch
Other controls include a pair of very smooth feeling pitch bend & modulation wheels, DAW transport controls, octave shift buttons, and there’s also a handy three-character LED display so you can see patch numbers and parameters at a glance. The keyboard itself comes bundled with a copy of Ableton Live Lite.
Although these knobs and faders can be assigned to almost any MIDI parameter straight out of the box these controls are designed to integrate perfectly with Ableton Live. There’s also a large range of assignable controller options and these include 8 knobs and 9 sliders or 1 slider if you buy the 25 note model. This includes velocity-sensitive keys and 16 responsive velocity-sensitive drum pads which are multicolored and backlit so they can easily be seen on a dark stage. But all of them feature the same great feeling of the full-sized.
There are three versions available the 61, 49, or 25 note models, depending on what size you are looking for. The Launchkey series has been a bestseller for a few years now as they offer high-quality keyboards and a comprehensive range of control options all packaged in a sleek easy to use lightweight design.
